Compared to other nations, and I have spent considerable time in Germany, France, Switzerland and Belgium, the Irish are actually very truthful. Because a lot of people don't lie a lot themselves they are touchingly shocked every time they find out that their politicians did it once again.

no just you ya Muppet

IWantToKnow
Ah, the ol' liar's paradox.

Of course, those only work in a world where people actually follow strict universal rules of "constantly being a liar" or "constantly tells the truth". In the real world, people don't work like that.

So no, all Irish people aren't liars. And liars don't lie all the time; They usually only do so when it's in their best interests. The best lies are those salted with the truth, after all.
