Yes. They are frequently killed and eaten by the natives. |

I've spent many months working in rural Ireland and found the Irish to be some of the most decent people i've come across. |

There are many of us Brits living and working in the Republic of Ireland and we have no problems with the locals, I personally have never come across any prejudice because of being English.
If you are a girl though I would suggest you do not hitch hike on your own not because it is Ireland but I would give this advise for any country.

No off course not, I'm Irish if i went back packing in rural Yorkshire and treated the yokals with disdain especially if they told me "don't go down on't moors when the moon tist full" and i just told them to fuc'k off you idiots i very much doubt i would be made to feel welcome.' Same rule applies to Ireland, respect respect respect and avoid other back backers especially English ones, them fuc'kers think a trip to Ireland is pussyland! |

No definately not Irish people would not treat people badly cause they have an English accent....... if you are geniune and are looking to see the country and enjoy the culture....... they might take the piss out of people but this is with every nationality but if you have a sense of humour then you will be fine and you will ahve a great time |

Not at all. They will be very kind and friendly unless you are unlucky to walk into a IRA terrorist. Then walk away quickly. |
