Are the Irish really Turkeys?

Was Dustin booed off stage for his off key singing or his looks?

I think we Irish are just fed up of the political circus that is the Eurovision and sent in our popular sarcastic puppet as a p*ss-take. It was sooooo bad it was hilarious! He was booed because die-hard Eurovision fans knew we weren't taking it seriously. Of course, we have our own serious Eurovision fans here who convinced themselves that the humour didn't travel but come on, it never stood a chance musically.

Puzzledirishgirl
Dustin was sent for a reason, it was a JOKE! The eurovision is a JOKE, look at the results last night. The Eastern Europeans vote for each other, surprise surprise.... And what a shock that Ireland voted for Poland and Latvia, I don't think!

some people didnt see the humour

I don't think the joke travelled. But controversially, my friend reckons Dustin did get through, but the Eurovision organisation refused to let it into the final, as they knew it was making a mockery of the show.

The question is will we have to wait 30 years for the official secret acts to be null and void, and see if we really did get douze points!!!??????

Well Hello there ;)!
Was he booed off stage???
that was kinda embarrassing!

Claus
Dustin was booed off stage for his off key singing , but come on its not like his the next Chris Doran :)

Craig B
i thought they were mega friendly when i was over there on tour, although i was extreemly drunk lol

The main thing is .... HE WAS BOOED OFF STAGE!!!! HE WAS CRAP!!!!

Not to mention insulting to those countries for whom the Eurovision really means something ....

And I am Irish. Born and reared. And rather than waste taxpayer's money on a spoof act, the turkey should not have been entered at all.

Ella's Mamaí
clearly some people havent read the question properly....

I think dustin was booed off the stage for a combination of both singing, looks and overall stupidity! It was embarrassing, It was a bad idea from the start
