Ha ha what kind of bubble are you living in? what the hell has been used since hell was invented and i told you this c'mon pulllllleeeeeeeeese! LOL is already used in speech by people and on the telly all the time so you're way off i'm afraid. You may think you are the trend setter amongst your own network of people but there is the outsiders and they've been using all these phrases for yonks.
By the way, this reminds me of the Carlsberg advert, what irish person hasn't sat in a kitchen showing off their native tongue to foreign visitors by using random words rather than a full irish comprehensive sentence LOL all my mates did that one night with a french friend and next thing you know it's on the carlsberg ad. We had a laugh & loosing the patent for "inventing" the practice lost it's importance after a while.
By the way LOL can also mean lots of laughs it was on gerry Ryan or Niki Hayes today on 2fm. You may one day be as wise as you profess to be, I'd give it a bit more time if I were you. Life experience cant be squashed into a 20 something year old.
Also, were you one of that generation who weren't slapped by the teacher for getting their spellings wrong? Pity.

Crazy girl...ouch! to one who heals the universe. Dunno, sorry, but I don't get the 'humour' in saying it, I personally think it would look very very stupid, on the person who's saying it. I think I'd embarrassingly turn away if someone said it.... lol is an action described in letters, basically, either you do laugh or don't.

Ahhh...it may confuse a few because it also stands for "lots of love"...and if you say it to some people, they may take it the wrong way....wouldn't that be fun!
