Best bars and clubs to go to in Temple Bar Dublin?

Me and a group of friends are visiting Dublin for three nights in January. We've been told Temple Bar is the place to go for nightlife, but which bars and clubs are the best?

Temple bar is quite small, you could do all the pubs in a night, ok, maybe 2. Start at the Palace, and work your way down, the Oliver St Johns, the auld Dubliner, the Quays, then on to Fitzsimons, and end up at the Porterhouse. There are loads more in between so just enjoy.

Also, outside of Temple are try The Hairy Lemon, off Grafton Street, or Sin E on the quays, actually, any pub will do, have a good time.

The Auld Dubliner and St John Oliver Gogartys are good (but busy) pubs.

"Fitzsimons" and "Purty Kitchen" are pretty good clubs

"the temple bar" pub is a good old irish pub.

Fitzsimons is also a good spot.
And the Mez if you're into more of a Rock/ Indie vibe.

It's pretty small so just walk around and wherever sounds good pop into!

Just do a pub Crawl..not a very big place so you will easily find a bar to suit your needs! I would also recommend Fitzsimons for dancing!

When I was there we went to the comedy club, upstairs in the Ha'penny Inn - great night.

Temple Bar at night is mostly a tourist trap, avoid it if you can! Eamonn Doran's is the only decent bar there. Pravda (Liffey St) is a great rock bar and only a couple of minutes from Temple Bar.
