Best nights to go out in Dublin?
Me and a friend are going to Dublin from Monday to Wednesday and were wandering whether the nightlife is good during the week and if so where is best to go?
Any night is about right and Temple Bar (South of the river) is the best for nightlife

There are plenty of good bars and clubs around temple bar and dame street and they usually do drink promotions between Monday and Thursday. I think the Purty Kitchen does 3 euro drinks on a Wednesday.
Fibbers on parnell street does three euro drinks wed and thurs but it's a dirty kip!

Every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday in Dublin is considered Rosh Madulah. Where in the inhabitants of Dublin and it's neighboring towns of Kimmage and Inchicore do not go out. They are considered 18 hour work days and most all bars and clubs are closed.
Thursday and Friday are VERY VERY wild there though. half naked women run around dude it's crazy. It's like mardi gras every week on those two days.

If it's this Monday (16 March) then you're in for a massive party anyway........... Tuesday is St. Patrick's Day , & the whole of Ireland (maybe not so much in the north) goes very happy! It's gonna be LARGE everywhere!!!
Temple Bar area is always busy with tourists & lots of bars/pubs/clubs etc..... but usually Mon to Wed nites in Dublin are CALMER than the rest....but I didn't say quiet.
Just stroll around the central Liffey river area...you'll find a good party most places!
