Hello,
In a couple of months I have a vacation. One of the places I plan on going is to Ireland. Some of the things I am intersted in are hiking and the nightlife. Where would be the best place to go for these things? Also how is the weather usually near the end of March? Thanks. |

There's not a better place to go walking/hiking than Ireland. There's the hills around Lietrim, the Sperrins, Mournes and the Wicklow Hills too. All of them great. There's plenty of walking books available too with stacks of different routes.
March can be pretty dicey tho - late April and into May tends to be much better. |

Dublin for the capital city experience.
wicklow for hiking.
cork and Kerry for amazing scenery.
Clare and galway for Irish historical sites and tradition.
offaly and kildare for the Irish bog and irishness.
weather varies alot.even in summer can be highly changeable |

I have no idea myself, but I would highly recommend doing some Google searches, because there are certain to be some excellent sites on the topic. :) Good luck, and have fun there! |

You could go to Dublin and hike in the Dublin mountains, the Wicklow mountains are probably the best place in Ireland to go hiking and if you hire a car its not a long drive from Dublin.
In March I would imagine it will rain for the month... and April too, as an Irish person I actually love the rain but if you don't you prob won't get much hiking done! |

All Irish pubs offer a great nightlife. Great people, good conversation, fantastic music. And Ireland is so beautiful, no matter where you walk, it is great hiking. Some of the most breathtakingly beautiful scenery anywhere can be found in Ireland. The west coast is amazing, Dublin, Belfast, Galway, you name it. Just go and let it happen.
Expect rain and you won't be disappointed! |
