Best way to get from Blarney Castle to Killarney?

am doing a day trip from Dublin to Blarney Castle, that afternoon I need to get from Blarney to Killarney? I heard that there is a public bus that runs from the castle to Cork, and then from cork I could train or bus it to Killarney...Is this true, or better yet does anyone know a better way?

You can get a bus from Blarney to the bus station (parnell Place), and from there get a bus to Killarney.

You could also get a train from Cork to Killarney. The train station is a 10/15 min walk from the bus station, so if you have luggage it might be easier to get the bus. The bus is also cheaper.

If it were me, I would look into going from Blarney to Mallow, and then taking the road from Mallow to Killarney - but this is driving. Buses do not usually take the same routes.

If you're bussing it, you might need to go back into Cork and get the bus to Killarney from there, or if you're taking the train, it might be possible to go from Mallow to Killarney, but I would think you'd have a better chance going back into Cork and getting the train from there.

I/m sorry, me darlin, but you can't get there from here!

Drive out of Blarney town, join the N7 Limerick bound.
Drive as far as Mallow, take the first exit at Mallow round-a-bout, signposted for Killarney..

Keep following the signs foe Killarney.

Thumb a lift there, plenty of traffic heading in that direction!
