Too early to decide.

Bertie.

= )

Its far too early to judge that one yet. So far Brian Cowen has had no major slip ups and Bertie was a good Taoiseach, and I was raised in a Fine Gael family.

Cowen hasn't really done much yet, so it's hard to say.

hi you
no fear Bertie is here Bertie by far

Health system in crisis, women being misdiagnosed with all clears when they have brest cancer.
Spirraling public service costs, due to lazy unsackable public servants.
Autistic children cant get ABA treatment, overcrouded classrooms, patients dying on trollys.
14000 jobs lost since january this year. Gun and violent crime on the rise yet guards are under resourced and under funded.
€150 million plus annual intrest squandered on ppars.
Millions upon millions squandered on e voting machines that nobody wants, also good friends of FF have the lucrative deals of storing these machines and get 100k a year to do so even though they were never used.

After all this how worse can it get. 11 years of government and we are worse off than the eighties.
That 150 million if it was invested 11 years ago would have gained intrest and could be used for a lot of good, ie aba treatments or extra funds for schools.

One mans "better taoiseach" is another mans bumbling fool.
Bertie did not give ireland the "boom" years it was the irish people as a collective that brought it about.

I'm bored of being bored

It is too early to judge Brian Cowen yeat but I liked Bertie Ahern anyway. He was really down to earth. I hate Enda Kenny! He acts like someone shoved an apple up his as*!

But one thing I hate about the two of them is that they both suppost the Lisbon Treaty.

bettyboo
I'd rather the scanger over the biffo. but give him time

I think they are as bad as each other! They both want the Lisbon treaty and they both stand to profit from this treaty how they could gamble with Irelands future I will never understand.
