I live in Ireland, this question has been asked before a few times, and removed several times, you should never ask whether one country is better than another. Every country has good and bad things about them. it's only natural we (the irish) prefer Ireland while the british prefer Britain.

Better should not be the question. Which will you enjoy more? What has more that you like? Both places are fascinating. British would say jolly old England, Irish would choose Ireland. Both have great spots to eat, drink and be merry!

I should be doing something else

I like them both the same

IRELAND-

But make off the west coast-the whole of it. Thats real Ireland.

In my experience, Ireland by far. Britian is far too cold and gloomy and there's not much to do outside of the the big cities like London. On the other hand, Ireland is cold and windy, but not really gloomy though, and there's plenty to do and see there, like seeing castles, visiting pubs, pretty much whatever you want.

IRELAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Ooh, this is hard, I was born in Ireland, but i live in Britain.

Well, I think I'll have to stick with my heritage and say Ireland.

paulred2
hmm, briton is a more varied place but i preferr the atmosphere in Dublin, i like Edinburough too, or london if i'm shopping.

Ireland - but not Dublin for more than a couple of days. Even Dubliners think it's so different from the rest of Ireland.

However, in fairness to be Britons, they've done a better job on preserving their heritage. But then greater population means greater taxes in order to do this.

manny2k8
i would say that Britain is better because it offers lots of opportunities and it also offers a wide range of various activities
