In Kerry you must visit Molly Gallivans cottage. Beautiful little tea shop. It has a farm that you can tour. It's all about ireland durring the famine.
It's in Bonane, Kenmare, co. Kerry

the west coast and south west coast are the prettiest...galway is the best and so is the dingle peninsula...you will be able to see the Cliffs of Mohr on the west...blarney castle (where the stone is) is beautiful...the grounds are amazing...i loved seeing the waterford factory, watching the men make the crystal was amazing...so talented...i liked dublin but it was a big city...i preferred the smaller towns..visiting the little pubs and shops and castles...most pubs will have live irish music and it was great...the burren (also towards the west) is acre and after acre of these rock formations...cool...there really wasn't a bad part because the scenery was just so beautiful...have fun...i know you will!

Guinness

Spend time in Dublin. It is a terrific old city with excellent food, and Trinity College. Visit the crystal factory in Waterford. West Ireland has some of the most amazing scenery. Shop for woolens and Irish Linen in Kilkenny. Visit a castle - they are all over. There is a lot to see.

Where to start. Thestreets of old Dublin provide world class shopping, wonderful pubs with good food and good music, lovely ancient cathedrals etc. Waterford has the factory open for tours and is a pretty town. Blarney has the castle (not for the weak of heart) and its mills are outstanding. Around Shannon you have Durty Nellies, a true ancient pub, on the grounds of Bunratty Castle and folk park. They also have a grand banquet show there. For a first trip you might want to try one of the tour groups such as CIE or Brendan tours. They cherry pick the best sites and you do not have to deal with transport or lodgings. Just sit back and enjoy a marvelous country.

Experience the pubs, the castles, the beautiful open green land, explore the outdoors, and find new and exciting adventures. I haven't been to Ireland, but that's what I've read in Travel books.

But one of my professors goes to Ireland once a year, so he's been talking about it a lot. His main objective is to go to the pubs and drink lots of Guinness like everybody's saying...haha, but he also mentioned a music festival that goes on in the Northern parts coming up in the next few months. Supposedly it's a huge thing and it's supposed to be fun and obviously, cultural. You'd have to do some research on that...I don't know any more.

Super S
go to the blarney stone and kiss as many people as you can. After that go to a pub.

Natty-Lea
Drink lots of Guinness then go looking for leprechauns. lol :-)
