I'm not sure what you need to bring a dog from Ireland to England. But my brother-in-law brings his dog with in his car on the ferry everytime he is visiting Ireland with no problems at all and no paperwork at all. So I'm sure its the same the other way round. Well actually there is one problem, the dog is nuts and likes to piss everywhere!!!

buddy of mine took his two feline friends to france. There is some form of pet passport, i.e. all his vaccinations have to be up to date, and he'll need a new rabbies shot, but you local vet is the dude for the job.

There aren't any problems if you go by ferry.Just bring the dog with you in the car.I see holidaymakers coming here to Ireland all the time with their pets with no special arrangements or requirements.

I think you bring it to the vet to get a jab; then I'd say the ferry from Holly head to Dun Laoghaire or Dublin port would be your best bet as they have kennels on board for dogs.
Good luck.
