It's not true. The only place you can go to by ferry from Cork is Roscoff in France. |

Sorry, I don't think that's true. I used to live in Southampton and anytime I was going to Ireland by ferry I travelled either from Swansea to Cork or from Fishguard to Rosslare.
You can fly from Southampton to Cork with Aer Arann though, if that helps. |
