Can you get a cruise from the United states to Ireland?

I am DEATHLY afraid of flying but need to visit a dear friend in ireland for a few days and was wondering if it were possible to get a cruise to ireland from the U.S.

If you have any info, thank you.

And please don't say Oh airplanes are safer blah blah blah. We all have our different element that we feel safer in and mine happens to be water.

I don't think they've had transatlantic pleasure cruises for a very long time, however it's not unheard of for passenger carriage on commercial vessels. How one arranges that, I don't know. That's a good question to ask here on Y!A.

when the sun goes down
no, not anymore
people just fly so there's no demand

get some strong sedatives to put you asleep on the flight from your doctor and book a flight.

There may be, but you would pay out shedloads of money and be travelling for more time than you'd actually spend in your destination.

Flying IS safer. Winter storms make the Atlantic treacherous.
