Can you get peanut butter in Ireland?

I am moving to Ireland in September of this year, and being a recent college graduate that cannot cook, peanut butter has been one of my staples. Am I out of luck?

Yes, you can.

= )

Paulio
In ireland we have all the same food products as you MOSTLY. They are always slightly different though. I thin when you try our chocolate you'll never eat your stuff again but you can get all types of peanut butter here, even american style, if you know where to look. Big chains like dunnes stores or tesco will have what you want.

My daughter gets peanut butter in England, so I would think you can also get it in Ireland too. However, she says that it is different from what we get here. I often send her pb from home.

Flying mop dog
No we've got plenty of brands of it. We also have reese's cups etc.

no1seller

Oh come on, what do you think we are? Cavemen living off berries and raw meat?!

Of course we have peanut butter, if you're from America we have alot of the American brands so you're bound to find the taste of home!!

As well as peanut butter we also have cooking classes and cook books! You may want to invest in them!

dermotpurcell24
yes you sure can Tesco's is our bigge'st food chain stores and they all stock peanut butter, infact i was brought up on it in Ireland

an bhuil gaeilge agat?
Ok - I studied abroad there for a year. You CAN get peanut butter - but if you're used to the American kind you're probably not going to like it! I find it really dry and kind of sandy ... and it just doesn't taste as good. Several suggestions: either take/send some, start making your own in a food processor, switch to Nutella....yum, or acquire a taste for their stuff (which i never did).

Good luck!

You can buy peanut butter in Ireland, but if you want actual American products, try www.americansoda.co.uk and order what you want in... including Welch's Grape jelly, and Fluff! :o)

Yeah you are. Ireland is the third world.

Seriously anything you can get in the US you can get in Ireland.

And more besides.

Try getting decent bacon and sausages in the US.

Although the Irish are now overtaking the US in terms of tubbies.
