I do, but it's not easy, I don't smoke, or drive a fancy car. I go out once a fortnight, and don't have any dependents
But after tax, it's probably worth €26k (if not less)
I do have a mortgage though and household costs which add up to €1,000 a month, so €12,000 per annum. The other €14k, goes so easily, a holiday, petrol, clothes, going out, car repairs , family occasions, all I can say, is it gone, I do manage to save €1,500 a year, .woo hoo, lucky me. |

Trust me I'm a Doctor ♥

My partner & I live on less than half that amount as he is unemployed at the moment, but we have a small mortgage.
Depends on your outgoings and where you live. If you have a huge mortgage and say a 20,000 Euro car loan then the answer is no. |

Yes it is possible. I lived on a part-time salary of 17,000 a year while studying fulltime. It takes a bit of practice, but you learn where all the bargains are. Don't expect to have very many mad nights out, holidays or taxi rides. Get a bike and shop at Aldi. |

It depends on what part of Ireland you would live in and what your outgoings are. At the moment I'm on that salary and have a mortgage on my own and find it difficult, especially with petrol prices the way the are at the moment too! However before I got the mortgage I rented a room in a shared house and lived quite comfortably on it, so it just depends on what other financial commitments are, but without any big financial commitments, you should be able to manage ok! |
