Great place,Galway. The Crane Bar is the local hot-spot for Irish music. There's a gig every night of the week, and it gets packed full of people quite early. Music starts around 9.30,sometimes a bit earlier.. Great night out. It's a few minutes walk from the city centre, over the bridge, turn right, then left, and listen. You'll hear where the music's coming from. The Crane sometimes has dancing, but there are half a dozen other venues around town to look for some. Ask in the Crane. They'll know what's on all over town. Also the library and tourist information offices will have notices for where to find some dancing for the time you are there. For accommodation, there are a lot of Bed and Breakfast places,or,if you want a backpacker hostel,Barnacle's Hostel is very good.Lovely place. I've stayed there a few times. It's right in the middle of town,in Quay Street, near the Lamb Pub. They have a branch in Dublin, too, just off Temple Bar,which is the main night-life area. You can get a coach to Galway from Dublin Airport which takes about 3 hours,or a train from Dublin Heuston station.......................http://www.thecranebar.com/

Google 'step-dancing+Galway' and you are bound to find some places. You could also try Limerick.

Saverio????

We don't like strangers
Just Google it, there's plenty of places to learn Irish dance in Ireland. Schools and colleges often hold classes of all varieties of an evening.
