As the other posters have said, You wont really get a cheap pint in the immediate area of the city centre, however 5mins walk from christchurch you wil find Thomas Street (you have go along Thomas St on your way to Guinness's Brewery). There are a lot of pubs along Thomas Street most are local pubs, however the two best would be The Clock (next to The National College of Art and Design) and Nash's just facing it.

A pint of Guinness in The Clock is E4.00 and in Nash's is E3.90, this is the cheapest you'll get in close proximity to the City Centre.

Ps. Nash's does really good food during the day.

Have a great time.

If you find it let us all know. Not in the city centre will you get anything cheap!

baby_face_paris
I'm afraid there is absolutely NOTHING cheap there.

Sorry hun there's no such thing especially in the city center they pretty much charge the same price all over the city. If you went out of the city a bit you would find it was a little less but not a huge amount. Best thing would to be buy cans or bottles and have a few before you go out.

I'll second what everyone else is saying you can't find a cheap pint of Guinness, tho it is cheaper than Lager, we paid between 5 euro 20 to 5 euro 70 in the Temple bar area just recently
