Cheap way to get to ireland?

anyone know of a cheaper way to get to ireland?? we want to go from fishguard to rosslare with the car and 4 people the quotes we get are over 300 pounds which seems loads to me, anyone know where we could get it cheaper or some way of getting discount with stena or somone, or maybe some knows of some special offer somewhere?. we want to go 11th august to 18th august,

Honestly it would be much cheaper if you flew by plane and hired a car. Flights to Ireland, especially Dublin are so cheap right now.. thats your best bet!

Get the ferry as foot passengers then just get buses while you're there.

the ferry is a bit ov a bad idea... coz its (eg) £40 for 1car+driver but then an extra £12 per adult and £8 for kids etc - so it has lots of hidden charges

The plane is good - but you have no car
