We use the Euro here...

taff3sghost
Euro.

A simple system to work prices out is if you are english to divide the price(of an item)by 3 and multiply by 2,so if something is 100 euros divide by 3 and multiple by 2.

For the price in US dollars divide by 5 and multiply by 7.

100 euros =$135
100 euros =£68

100 pounds =E148
100 dollars=E74

Euro and if you're in the states I'm afraid the exchange rate is not in your favor.

Ireland is already expensive, add the exchange rate and it's brutal.

Like most of Europe, Ireland spends euro. Generally, we say euro as the plural too (not "euros")

It's the Euro and has been since 2002.
Before that we used the Irish Pound (Punt).

Buy lots of euros if you live in the US. The dollar will probably go pear-shaped soon (devaluation) and you will be rich :-D
