I also heard it but never found out anything. I know they're proud of their britishness and bring out the Union Jack during the Trooper but Bruce Dickinson et al come off as pretty sound guys. I can't imagine them burning another country's flag.

Never heard that .... they are quite popular in Ireland, I don't see how they would jeopardise this.

Do you seriously believe that a British band would stand up on a stage in the Republic of Ireland & burn a tricolour? If they had you would have heard about it because they'd still be searching the streets for the remains, we may be politically apathetic unless it suits us but there are some things even the most devoted fans wouldn't tolerate

If you google that story it's apparently an urban myth that's been doing the rounds since the eighties

i've never heard of it but i've heard they bring out their english flag whenever they play, but they do that everywhere.
