Course they do, there's also leprechauns and banshees in the local pubs if you get there early enough.
And you guaranteed a pot of gold if you buy one a drink. |

Horses in the streets of Ireland?

They do not. They haven't done for a very long time now, say about 20 years.
Ireland isn't fecking Disneyland, it's a real place. |

Is this question for real?? Ireland has evolved at the same rate as the rest of the world you know??
The city's in Ireland would be mirrored by any other big city in Europe. |

Horses?
No.
Sheep?
Yes.
Only joking = )
It's a myth.
Hope I Helped.
= ) |
|

If you say so
|
I am sure you know it is a myth.
I have never seen a wild horse on any street in Ireland.
There is still a horse mart every now and then in Smithfield which is in Dublin city centre but it is an organised event ha ha where people can purchase and sell horses.
Sorry to disappoint you :-) |
|

Don't tell my boss I'm on here
 |
I think you have been watching too many episodes of the Irish RM |
|

Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge
|
They do.
Sher have you ever been in O'Connell Street on a Friday afternoon? Shocking altogether so it is. You'd be taking your life in your hands if you were to cross the road to the GPO to get a stamp and a scratchcard.
And your shoes are destroyed for the amount of horseshyte on the streets. |
|

Creation&Evolution

It is a complete myth |
|

Kiss Me Im Irish;)
|
ummm...no...but you see the odd knacker or two driving the horses on gigs around the suburb areas of the city sometimes. Im in Cork city and there a few traveller sites nearby and sometimes I can hear the clicking of the horses hooves on the road outside followed by a little ten year old on a gig being pulled by the horse going "getup there now ara!!"
Limerick City would probably be the most popular area for horses in the city heheh!! |
|

|
Kinda true. Jay...you living in the suburbs by any chance?.... In the city of Limerick, there is loads of horses on the street. My bosses car was damaged a couple of weeks ago from a 'sulkie' and a horse, and the local Gardai said tough luck. Just park anywhere in the city, and within time you'll see them. But they ain't running wild, just with little children attached to them! |

No indeed, not at all. The occasional horse I have seen was well behaved and pulling a carriage - like for a wedding. Do you believe everything you hear ?? |

Sometimes.
About as often as you'd see a sheep breakin out of a field. They trashed the cars parked down a road near me one time, dirty bastards.
I remember one time goin to Kerry, I saw a sheep standin on top of a cliff ready to jump - Sean, he was called. Tired of the rocky mountain life I guess - sore on the feet, see. |

of course not. the cork knacker above me here is just trying to distract you from the under privileged and horse infested streets of cork.
i've lived in limerick my entire life and have never seen a horse on the street. to tell the truth i don't think i've ever seen a horse in person. we don't have travellers around here. just one bad area, and theres prob a few horses in the fields surrounding that, but thats the countryside so you'd expect it. |
