In the U.K. the clocks are changed twice a year, an hour forward in spring and back an hour in the auturm. Does the same happen here in Ireland????? If so, can anyone tell me when please??? i dont want to be an hour early for work!!!! Thanks. |

Yes on the same days. This year they'll go back on the 28th of October. So you'd be an hour late if you don't change them...surely that's worse than being an hour early!! |

Yes they do...... Were both on daylilght savings.
Ireland is actually 30 mins behind GMT but still have GMT as its national time |

Yes. Most countries with daylight savings now follow an internationally agreed date when the times should change. Clocks go back an hour on the last Sunday morning in October (typically 2am is changed to 1am). Clocks go forward an hour in the last Sunday in March (typically 1am is changed to 2am).
I believe that Ireland conforms to this practice. |
