Do they have a train in Ireland?

Hey like we are moving to Ireland and I am 16 and I was just curious do they have a train that takes you everywhere?? I know United kingdom does but does ireland have one?
Additional Details
Hey Look people I didn't mean it in a smarty derogatory manor twoards you guys. It is just I know there is a Euro train on the continent that will take you everywhere is there a big huge train that will take us from the country house we are renting in Connaught to dublin or galway or one of the big cities. Or do we drive everywhere like in America.

I meant know offense when I said UK either I am not stupid just because I live in the west coast and have a fitness program. I know most people don't refer to it that way. It was just easier to say at the time. And for all of you who are saying these mean nasty things to a curious 16 year old going to visit my family and start a new life . GO Get a life I bet your not even Irish on here.

yes of course we have trains but it's a very bad service ie you cant get the train from...say..Cork to sligo. You'd first have to get the train from Cork to Dublin, then the luas from hueston to connelly and then then the train to sligo.

The Nine Lives of Laura Gonzales
Oh yes, we have trains. We're very modern, you know. We have indoor plumbing and everything.
