Rip Off again. From past experience, all the B&B's and hotels jack up their prices for the Slane concert weekend, well they have in the past, so next year will be no exception.
Better to stay in Dublin or Drogheda and get one of the special buses which go right up to the entrance, and will also bring you home after the gig. The police usually have Slane village condoned off to normal traffic, with the exception of special buses, and it's a long walk from the police barriers to the grounds.

the d hotel in drogheda are doing a specia deal for the oasis concert..maybe you could check them out

or i think your cheaper option might be to get a room in dublin and get the bus :)

i would not worry too much about finding a place near the venue. Dublin bus provide shuttle buses to and from the castle, from Dublin city center. So widen your search to include Dublin.
Slane is a very small town, and most concert goers travel up on the buses, which are usually a bit of craic in their own right.

There's a list of B&Bs and guesthouses on this site:
http://www.slanetourism.com/Accommodation.html

Failing that, go to one of the surrounding villages:

Hope this helps!
