but the real cure for everything is a hot whiskey with hot flat 7up, now by jaysus, all senses are gone, so ye must be feeling better.

I truly believe whiskey and flat 7up are a vital ingredient in any Irish medicine cabinet.

My dog died 2 years ago aged 15, put some flat 7up on it tongue,up he lept like a puppy, still going strong, scary thing was he was dead a full day before this happened..

Nope, a little known fact: 7up can cure cancer, AIDS, diabetes, malaria, hepatitis and pretty much anything else you care to mention.

It is also Chuck Norris's soft drink of choice.

Why more people haven't copped on yet is beyond me. =]

I was always told it was flat tanora!!!! Must work with all soft drinks I guess.... yuck! Id prefer to suffer through the illness!!

It is not flat 7up but boiled 7up that is supposed to help with an upset stomach. It helped me when I was a kid and I will buy lemonade when I am dying from a hang over.

Outside of Ireland and UK 7up is hard to come by, I got a funny look when I asked for it in a pub in Australia. Might because I am Irish and didn't ask for drink.

A flat coke usually works for me, or ginger beer, ginger beer is surprisingly good on a bad stomach

Eegads. I do not drink those horrible sugary drinks anymore, they are SO BAD for you .... my mother never made me drink that stuff.
