No, not at all. If you have Irish grandparents you can claim Irish citizenship which makes moving here much easier. Without this, you will need to get a work permit or student visa. Work permits are given out to highly qualified people working in occupations which are needed in Ireland, similar to immigration policy in Canada. Visit http://www.entemp.ie for more information on this. If you come on a student visa, be aware that fees for international students can be expensive, so check if you can access any scholarship programs that would help you with fees. There are also short term visa options through organisations like BUNAC that may have opportunities for you too. |

We'd stay in Canada if we were you. Sher that's a grand country.

Ya of course it's possible, however before you move here make sure it's for the right reasons because you don't want to travel half ways around the world and be lonely!! Ireland is a beautiful place but we're in the grips of recession at the moment and jobs are scarce. |

No, you don't, but if you don't have EU nationality or a university education, it will be very difficult, if not impossible.
Easier to move there if you have the university education, if the nationality thing isn't an option. Do you research and see what you can learn in order to have a qualification that is not common in Ireland. |
