lived there over a year - It does have some good parts like shopping, good mix of restaurants, good nightlife, lots of gigs and close to the airport for trips abroad.
But on the downside, its so bloody expensive, the traffic is a nightmare, buses are either very late or so early that you miss them, the town is always packed at the weekend so its not an enjoyable shopping experience, and its dirty.
So in some way im glad i dont live there anymore, but i am kinda bored in the smaller town im in now. But for tourists i would always tell them to see other parts of Ireland, cos Dublin is just like any big city really.

No, hate the sight of it. Too dirty and smelly. But for a once off shopping trip, its fine, but again, delighted to see the back of it.

Well, seeeing as how I have lived here my entire life with no plans to ever rally leave, yes. And it's so much better than the holes in the ground some people call cork and limerick

LOVE DUBLIN! Ireland was my first trip out of the country and I traveled to Galway and Dublin, and I loved both them! Dublin is like a cleaner, friendlier New York City.

Like is such a strong word.
It is the word you use before love.

Dublin is a city now.

Congratulations to the Dub Buds.
Maybe some day ye will bloom to be the real capital of Ireland.

Good Luck

Edit: Cork is the real Capital, just incase any of ye are confused.
