Do you remember when young people used to say "Not" after a sentence, should it stay forgotten? |
I was talking to a 13 year old relation and they said they do not even remember it. Has it been that long?
Example
" That is a nice top" followed grossly by the word "Not"
I always thought it was quite an annoying phrase.
I remember a girl in Secondary school wrote in my Christmas card.
"You are my best friend".
Then followed by the word "Not"
I hope people do not use it anymore.
Trust my generation to come up with just a dumb phrase.

Do kids still go around the playground and point at you and call you a friget.
Glad to know that "Not" is being forgotten.
Yep crazy girls have many a sad story about childhood Christmas Cards and such. Hence being crazy. I find the freaks of childhood, adapt quite well to audlt life, don't you think.

Ha. I'm 18 and i defo remember the "NOT" thing...I think its part of the whole '90's kid experience. lol. Along with "Talk to the hand"....Ahh childhood.
Oh and they do still say friget. My sister is 12 and desperate to lose her 'friginity'...*sigh* ha |

Yes i should stay forgotten, it used to annoy me sooo frickin much when i was in primary, it was 'cool' to say it then.
My mam sometimes still says it!!!! Ha! xD Embarrassment!
EDIT- Ya i think kids do call each other fridgets. They did when i was in 6th class anyways and that was about 4 years ago, i think they still do though! |
