Does Guiness make you lose weight?

I use to hate the stuff but tasted it again a few months ago and liked it. I wanted to gain a few pounds too so that was perfect timing. As you know if you are a women it is bloody annoying if you are in between sizes, say a 11,13 or 15.

It started off being an odd Guinness but now I drink it out every night I am out. It has become my regular drink.

But it did not work and I lost weight. People told me it is lower in calories than orange juice and full fat milk. How naive was I to think it would help you gain weight because it was thick?

Now I will touch hardly anything else when I am out. While other young people have shots, I have no interest and just stick to pints of Guinness like an old man and one small shot at the end of the night. I used to drink half pints but since the Recession I cannot afford it.

So does it help you lose weight?

Now I am still between a size and it is driving me bananas. And do not want to go a size smaller because I like my normal size.

I am not a skinny miny. I like being a small bit fat. I think it looks sexy on a women.
The one who plays ugly Betty is Fabulous looking in real life and what great teeth.

So should Guinness be used for weight lose?

That never happened to me Woof. I have a good dietary track. Oh you called me a Dub there yesterday. You can leave the apology in the comment box in that question. I am from Cork.

Cheers

No it doesnt cause you to loose weight. It has around 110 calories a pint. If you have 3 pints a night you will gain 1 pound every 10 days.

In short you would loose 2 1/2 stone in a year by not drinking guninness

pinknova15
i definitely hope so...enjoy that stuff as well@

Apparently it is one of the healthier beers - but you'll never catch me drinking it, I think it tastes disgusting.
