Does a provisional driving license work as ID for flights from the UK to Dublin?

Its is on a RyanAir flight

Should do if you have the photo id type

RyanAir site says "A valid driving licence with photo is ONLY acceptable photo ID for travel on domestic flights within the UK and domestic flights within the Republic of Ireland.

For British and Irish citizens only, who are travelling on flights to/from the United Kingdom to/from the Republic of Ireland, a valid driving licence with photo is acceptable photo ID" Ring them and check a provisional is OK. Some places only accept a full licence, photo ID or not.

Check with your airline because it would be a nightmare if your got to the airport and they told it it wasnt..

Yes it will as long as it has your photo on

Christine
Beearmy, the answer is NO. a provisional licence is not an acceptable proof of ID, ring them up and ask, but Ryan air especially have very little leeway in their policies... Passport or full licence is needed

dollymixture
sud do cus i know people who have used their student card with photo as ID
But it mite be different if ur goin from dublin - if you are from Uk it cud be jus domestic flights allow it - u sud ring airport/airline and check!
