there are two parts to ireland the republic and northern ireland! Northern ireland is run by the english government!
the cost of living is very high, family life ranges from person to person so would be hard to comment, for recreation there is allot of live music ranging from traditional irish to indie rock, heavy metal and everything in between, every summer there is a music festival called oxygen and electric picnic which is an art and music festival. there are also hundreds of pubs in every town and cinemas etc. the social problems would be drugs, and violence, with allot of knife crime in cities like limerick and dublin!
the weather is usually wet and cold but it can get very hot in late spring and summer depending on our luck!
in law its illegal to drink or smoke under 18, the legal age to have sex is 16, we don't have the death penalty, life in prison is 50 years,
employment is very bad allot of businesses are closing down and allot of jobs are being lost, also all special needs assistance's are being cut from primary education,
hope this helped :)
