Does anybody know when cadbury's creme eggs are available again in ireland?

agooddub
They are distributed by Cadbury immediately after the Christmas deliveries are finished, usually in the last week of December. They are only available to the wholesalers for 8 weeks. After that it is the turn of traditional Easter Egg deliveries, although some are trickled out in January, but 90% are delivered in February / March. January deliveries are mostly made up of expensive Caskets and Boxes for the St. Valentine Day market.
The marketing and distribution plan is mapped out months in advance, as Cadbury Ireland have to secure the stock from Cadbury in Bournville UK. where it is made.
The November / March marketing period is very heavily supported by TV and Radio ads, which are also booked months in advance.
The volume of creme eggs required for the 8 week selling period takes the factory at Birmingham a full 12 months to produce.
During the selling period some wholesalers buy in huge stocks at discounted prices and release them all year round, so the people who say they can buy them all year round are probably eating old stock and should check the" Best before Date "

BLAH
PROBABLY NEAR EASTER TIME
