The Giants Causeway and Carrickarede Bridge are good.

Mourne Mountains

Along the coast anywhere really though some of the towns can be very touristy but I've been on my own for a break the odd time and off season they can be just lovely.

Basically anywhere!

If you weren't meaning only Northern Ireland as in the UK bit then Donegal is a beautiful county (it's northern in the geographical sense and southern in the political sense!)

Ireland's not that big so if you are driving you can drive anywhere in the north in no more than 4 hrs coast to coast I'd imagine.

Check out www.northernireland.ie or www.discoverireland.ie for more info.

The scenery around Antrim is fabulous! Also, if your looking for a town, my favorite is Bangor, in Co. Down. :)
Enjoy your trip!

County Down is fabulous. Ulster, in general, is a wonderful place.
