Does anyone know of New Ross, County Wexford. If so any advice?

We're due to holiday there in July, and would love some advice on places to see, things to do, recommendations etc.

oh i have a holiday home near new ross and i love going there! its the home of the kennedys.
its a nice place, lovely cafe's and it also has the Dunbrody famine ship that you can go on and see an interactive exhibition and experience life on board an emigrant ship.

That's a lovely part of the country, and there's lots to see and do. Why don't you contact the Irish Tourist Board, Bord Failte, and see if they can give you info? There's also www.local.ie, this also has info.

I grew up near there, It is beautiful countryside all around. There are many caravan and campsites to stay at in that area. Also there are many towns with a lot of history and old buildings near there most of which are less than two hours away. If you're staying in New Ross i recommend that you take a day or a half to visit those towns such as dunmore east, graiguenamanagh, inistoige. Just visit bord failte.ie to check out the area. Enjoy your stay

New Ross is a small town..with places to eat and shop..but if you are driving there a lots of beautiful places in Co Wexford to visit...the tourist office will give you all the info you need..I would suggest you take a drive to a beautiful fishing village called Dunmore East which is in Co Waterford..about an hours drive from New Ross..it has lots of charm and lovely beaches, also lots of places to eat ,drink, and be merry..

Podge and Rodge Tribute Band
Home town of the Kennedy clan but not as glamorous as Boston.
