Well first you'd have to believe in such a thing as being haunted...
They used to say our school Loreto in Navan was haunted but anything like that which involved the church in anyway is always called haunted
There are however no great stories or big old houses like what you're looking for, sorry

There are loads of spooks in the Council Offices in Navan.

That house on the Trim-Navan road, where they're putting a new road thru the garden...
A ghost runs out of it crying every night, and runs to the chruch up the road... so they say.
The Stonehouse pub is haunted too I think, built on the old funeral home.. ooooh spooky...
All the pubs are haunted, its all the spirits they have, ha ha, not funny I know..
:p

Here are a few ideas for haunted places in Meath.

Firstly there's Portlick Castle. It is said to be haunted by a white ghost often seen wandering around the ruins during the night.

Then there's the Hill of Tara & Lough Devereaugh. Details of both are given in this website;

The haunted traveller gives photos of a few places including the statue of St. Patrick, County Meath.
