Does anyone know why my right hand hurts?
My right hand has started to ache a lot today, I've been using it a lot recently to pull things. Should I go and see my doctor or hope the pain will go away. Additional Details Yeah it started to throb a lot when I was pulling it, hope I can stay away from it for a day or two. Don't want to wear it out.
lol. what did you pull?! was it vigorous action? did it shake a lot when you was pullin? did your whole body tremble as a result? haha. hope you had fun!
Sshhhh! It's Podge and Rodge
Use your left hand for a while instead.
You've probably pulled a muscle while you've been pulling your muscle.
gia
rest your hand a lot, and wait about 4-7 days. if it still hurts you might've pulled/ripped a muscle so go to the doctor.

I used to be a doctor. Tonight, just before you go to bed, take 2 paracetemol. If the pain hasn't gone by Tuesday morning then make an urgent appointment with your doctor.

yes see a doctor if its stays or gets worse x

Wait a few days and the pain should go away. Give it plenty of rest, typing opn a computer for prolonged period can also caused aching wrists/hands.
Just rest it, take 2 paracetamol and the pain should go away. If it doesn't go in 3-4 days then maybe see the doctor.
You've probably just stretched a muscle or your right hand is sore from lifting all day - it happens. Just stay away from any heavy lefiting, perhaps keep it warm with one of them warm puch things or freezing cold by putting ice in some blue roll and holding it onto your wrist.
Oh and if any bruises come up that look overly swollen or dark then see a doctor the next day or if you can the same day. It means you may have strained a muscle.

The pain should subside in a day or two (assuming it's a pulled muscle).
Failing that - Go see the Doc.

I think you should consult your doctor, just to be sure. From what you say, you may have pulled a muscle or strained something. I don't think this is a particularly Irish condition.
