Driving from Belfast to Dublin, where should I park?

Was thinking of parking near one of the DART stations north of Dublin and getting the DART in and out. Does this seem like a good idea, is there decent, safe parking at the DART stations?

Thanks!

coming from Belfast, it would be easier to park in Blanchardstown shopping centre, and getting the bus into town, €2, correct change needed. At least the parking is free there, and it's on route.
Although there is plenty of parking in Dublin city. If you are going in on a Sunday, it's free on some streets, or the car parks to rates of like €5 for the day, well in Abbey street they do, thats where I would go. But Dublin is a 1 way traffic nightmare, so probably best going to Blanch SC

Another idea is to park in the long term car park in the airport if you are going to be more than a day and get a bus into town. Otherwise I would agree with Blanch Shopping Centre. If you want to park at a DART station, maybe look into the stations further out on the North side. Otherwise you might as well drive into town.

The Questioner
How long will you be in Dublin? if more than a day you could book into a Hotel, such as Jury's Inn on Custom House Quay, in the centre of Dublin, there is a car park behind the hotel, or you could park in the car park in Malahide Dart Station, or Portmarnock Dart station and travel in on the Dart. Enjoy your time in Dublin.

Park at the train station and take either the DART or bus into Dublin. It's pay and display so don't forget your ticket. If your getting the bus make sure you have the correct CHANGE when getting on the bus as the drivers can be extremely arrogant! :D

If you drive on to the M50 when you hit dublin take the red cow exit and jump on the Luas into town. Its the pay and ride car park.. You do have to pay but its safe and the luas is every few mins...
