Dublin's Grafton Street..Dublin can be heaven with a coffee at eleven..?

Am reminiscing a wee bit...haven't been back to Dublin for some years now....do you remember Woolworth's at the top of Grafton Street?...
the Santa window at Switzers...Bewleys for a coffee (in my case for breakfast at 7.30am)...Bang Bang ..The Diceman...thoughts appreciated...here's a jewel from the past...would love to get a version of this by Noel Purcell...

'Glenside' a division of Walton's Music has a CD 'Glenside Irish Classics' with 20 classics of The Walton's Saturday afternoon programe including 'The Dublin Saunter' sung by Noel Purcell. 'So if you do feel like singing...' you can get it at the site below. Bang Bang, The Diceman, Bewleys, and even The Santa window and Switzers are all only memories now - gone to a different Heaven - see the 'Indo' article at the second site. Today's generation will have different memories, maybe what makes memories special is that they are shared only by a chosen few!

I don't think you'd recognise the place, to be honest. It has changed a lot in the past 10 years.

I remember Bewleys for coffee..my mom would take me there..they did the best coffee creams..and when I smell coffee now, no matter where I am in the world I always think of Bewleys..
