Have you been on the M50 recently? The average speed of traffic during the day must be about 40 kph. Why would you need to know about speed cameras? |

Yes - Northbound there is one just after the N81 exit for Tallaght/Blessington etc. I have marked the approimate position:

It is ***not*** signposted nor is there any warning, despite what previous answerers seem to think.
Southbound from the toll bridge, the only camera I know of is just after the toll bridge before the turn off for Palmerstown/Lucan about here:

I have heard various stories about camera flashes and the results! It would seem that some people have received penalties while speeding and some not. |
