Interesting.

However according to UN figures Iceland (also a European but not EU country) has the highest standard of living in the world. Since two thirds of Iceland's population live in the capital, Reykjavik, maybe that is the the most prosperous city.

By the same UN figures Ireland has the fifth highest standard of living in the world which is no insignificant achievement.

Kracow is the most prosperous city in Europe. Average income has almost doubled in six years.

nope it does feel like that though when i have been away from france for such a long time but when i go there on business it just hits me at how much better their infrastructure works and there are roads linking evrywhere around the country not just the cities

but dublin is very prosperous and i think we'll be up there with the rest of the european capitals

I suppose it depends on where you are. I'm sure people in certain parts of the town feel very wealthy, while others are struggling to pay for everything.

the last time i was in dublin there was a 30 plus traveller fight and all the police did was drive past them

Podge and Rodge Tribute Band
Was that in the cartoon section?!
Dublin might be the most prosperous city but it's also one of the most expensive. And if that wasn't bad enough, the place is full of jackeens!
