Electrical Standards in Dublin?

I am travelling to Dublin very soon and was asking what sort of elctrical sockets they have as I wish to be charging my camera batteries over there and whether I would need to bring an adaptor to use the standard 3 pin I have with the charger.

We use three-pin square sockets, same as the UK.

It's the same as the UK as people said however I'm not sure if you aren't from the US or not.

It's not a US plug here in Ireland, we use the same standards here.

If you are from the US, before you do bring your charger make sure it's rated for a 240V and 50 hertz power supply (it should read capable of 100-240V, 50-60 Hz) If yes, then you need an adapter like they use in the UK and here in Ireland. If not, you better buy a transformer for your power supply won't handle the phase change.

If you are coming from uk its the same
