Owen's just a kid, for God's sake! Are these cowards seriously threatening a sixteen year old for something he will have had very little say over? He can't be seen to be difficult and he is, after all, an excellent representative for all young people in Northern Ireland. He isn't doing any harm. These idiots need to square up with the people behind the army presence of yesteryear, not a kid who hasn't hurt anyone.

Firstly a certain sect of muslims kicked off last week threatening other muslims watching the x factor or buying the single was to support the WRONG SIDE. The contestants felt humbled & honoured for singing it for our country's heros. Now the IRA are getting into the same political shite, excuse the french but why take something like this and use it for a political tool? Theres always hate and war, can people not feel that there is alot of compassion and appreciation for what our heros have done? Eoghan Quigg is a boy and he did it because he wanted to. This is uttlerly stupid beyond my conprehension! |

I know, I was reading about this yesterday, but I read that they were giving out because he was 'forced against his will' to wear a poppie and sing a song for British soldiers.
Poor kid. |

My views are your views exactly.
What they supposedly stand for is pointless, stupid and they really need to wake up. ;)
P.S. To stoop as low as to start to threaten a teenage boy, need I say more? |

The likes of Walsh like to throw their weight around pretending they're important when in reality no one gives a sh!te what they say any more. |

Gosh, I think the IRA must really miss the days of De Valera, when THAT SORT OF BULLYING DICTATORSHIP WAS CONSIDERED OKAY!!!!
Bastards. He can sing whatever he wants. Give all sectarian organisations the finger. I'm sure that the UVF wouldn't like a 'taig' singing such a song to 'British' people, but heroism should be recognised even in one's worst enemy. |

There haven't been any threats, or anything like it from what I've read.
And if there are any idiots making threats, I doubt they're anything to do with paramilitaries of any flavour.
Maybe he should release 'A Nation Once Again' as his first hit single to balanced it all off. Hope he wins.

Internet threats...yawn, I very much doubt it's anything to be concerned with.

Matt, it's an absolute disgrace. As Adams said before,
'They haven't gone away you know'
Can we take this opportunity to ask whoever reported our question about yesterday's parade in Northern Ireland why exactly they reported our question?
If you're reading this and you have any guts at all why don't you email us and tell us why you reported it. Mind you we're not expecting you to email us because you're probably a feckin coward anyway. |
