Are you flying from Carrickfinn? If so give them a ring and ask or check their site.It says they accept valid international Student I.D.
http://www.donegalairport.ie/
Derry And Dublin would accept same.

Contact the airline, they are the ones transporting you and will advise you what ID they will accept |

Contact your local passport office immediately. They can issue an emergency passport which CAN be done in 24 hours.
Its expensive though. €150 i think. Plus u will need forms stamped by the Gardai.
Student ID's are not accepted I think tho confirm this by contacting your airline asap. |

Don't panic it will show....
I fly frequently from Liverpool to Cork by Ryanair and I know that they only accept either driving licence or passport.
I am always losing stuff and turn my flat upside down looking for things, usually turns up in the place that I first looked. U know what it's like your in such a flap your not really looking properly. Have you tried sitting down quietly and thinking of realistic possible places it could be? then slowly check out each possibility. Maybe you took it out one night as ID? Opened a bank account and its still in with your paperwork?
Good luck with it anyway and have a great time in Edinburgh, I lived there for 5 years and its a fab place to visit - you will make it there, enjoy the weak pound to Euro rate. |

That happend me last year when i was going to Majorca, i had a week to find my passport. If you go up to Dublin in the morning they will give you a new one but you have to wait around until the afternoon. Do it now, because today is wednesday. Go today or tomorrow the latest.
Ring the passport office to find out
Department of Foreign Affairs
80 St Stephen's Green,
Dublin 2
Tel: (01) 4780822
LoCall: 1890 426 700

Worst case scenario, drive up to Belfast and take the ferry across to Stranraer, The UK-Ireland border doesn't have passport controls, and because the Ferry is an Internal UK ferry they wont ask for passports either
Check your airline, Ryanair are a ***** and you're probably screwed if you're with them
Ryanair are easy - im sure they'd except one you made on Microsoft word.
Check with the airline
They'll tell you what you need to know
Good Luck |

check everywhere you can possibly think of; every pocket, bag, drawer and if you really can't find it I think they let you use driving licenses... if you have one that is xx
hope you get to edinburgh! |

Go to the passport office and get a new one. It'll cost you, but it can be done. I know someone who had to do it on the very day they were due to go on holidays. |

Someone asked this question a few minutes ago. All you need to travel between UK and Ireland is a valid driving licence or a student ID, with an up to date photo.
A photo ID is all you need. We have a special arrangement between the two countries.
Go get pissed on Rose Street and forget the stress.
Edinbourgh rocks. |

ask the airline as well as the airport, it is hard now to travel without passport for security reason but maybe between scotland and Ireland will be easier. |

Check with the airline first, not all of them need a passport for domestic flights, my friend didn't have a passport or a driving licence and they let her fly using a student identity card, it all depends what airline you are flying with. |
