Orla C your answer pi**** me off why should a woman/mother force her son to have the circumcise operation? If a guy took you to a hospital and forced you to have an abortion or have you tubes tied againist your will how would that make you feel?
Not all us guys agree with being circumcise we have a choice wheater to have it or not just because a generation ago used to have it done. does not make it right in 2008 as i said fu** the GMC (General Medical Council) and the American Medical Association

Your son does not need to be mutilated.
It is HIS penis, not yours.
Like many men (38% of US "circumcised, some 20 MILLION men), I resent that somebody sliced off the most sensitive part of my penis, somebody that had no right to do that to me. This is MY body that was MY foreskin.
They stole 240 feet of nerves and 20,000 nerve endings from me, and threw them in the garbage.
They mutilated my penis leaving my glans permanently exposed to friction and injury, and I have been injured, right through my Levis. (didn't leave a mark on the Levis but blood in the shorts)The glans will split just like a lip will when struck, hurts like Hell too, the foreskin is supposed to provide a protective cover but it can't after it has been thrown in the garbage. |

I'm surprised at some of the other people's answers. I thought the medical profession in general approved of male circumcision and disapproved of female circumcision, but clearly there are men out them who feel like circumcision is a very bad thing. I can't do anything more than comment on their reactions, as I am a woman.
A question for the asker - why does the doctor performing the circumcision have to be specifically Jewish? There is a large community in Cork city, did you ask there? |
