Very down to earth. Great nightclubs in the city too.

Best looking women in Ireland and are loyal.

The accent maybe? "Galway girl" really is just a stereotype (I have friends from Galway and they don't conform to the blue eyes, black hair rule) it's a beautiful song though.

A lot of people from Galway can speak Irish and play traditional music (maybe that's a stereotype too?)

Pushing The Senses!
Well i took a strole on the old long walk
on the day ia ia ay
i meet a little girl and we stopped to talk
on a grand soft dai ai ia ay

And i ask you friend whats a fella to do
becoz her hair was black and her eyes were blue
And i knew right then i'd been taking a whirl
Down the Salthill prom with a ROSCOMMON girl
HO

Were halfway there when the rain came down
On the day ia ai ay
She asked me up to her flat down town
On a grand soft day ai ai ay

And i ask you friend whats a fella to do
Coz her hair was black and her eyes were blue
And i took her hand and i gave her a twirl
and i lost my heart to a ROSCOMMON girl
Ho

And when i woke up i was all alone
with a broken heart and a ticket home
And i ask you now tell me what would you do
Ha if her hair was black and her eyes were blue
Coz i'd travelled around
I've been all over this world
Course ive never seen nothing like a ROSCOMMON girl
