Going To Dublin For The Day? |
We're landing in Dublin for the day at around 7:30am on Nov 8th. We're wanting to have a really good day, we're going to have around 200 Euros.
The main City Center, is that mainly on O'Connell Street where all the shops are.
Where's the cheapest place to eat lunch.
Thanks. |

Whilst I love Dublin and go there quite often for a long weekend there is no such thing as a cheap place, VAT is arround 21%. Some of the pubs etc which do food may be cheaper.
Grafton street is the main shopping street and there is a large shopping centre at the top of it. Grafton street is expencive.
Whilst you are there I recommend you visit the Temple Bar area. |

The main shopping area in town is Grafton Street, across the river from O'Connell Street, between Trinity College and St Stephen's Green. O'Connell St is mainly fast food joints at this stage. Henry St, about halfway up O'Connell St has a lot of shops like Arnotts department store, Zara, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Street,_Dublin etc. Near Henry St is the ILAC shopping centre and Jervis St shopping centre. Powerscourt Centre is near Grafton St. There are plenty of cafes around the city centre and pub grub down on the quays. |

It all depends on what age group you belong to, if you are male or
female, I am going to take it that you are female and in teens to
say 30+. With 200 euros, Stay away from Grafton Street, far too
expensive. Start on Henry Street, and it has two shopping centres
Ilac Centre and Jervis Street, ask anybody, and you will find places
to eat on O'Connell St. That is the best area for spending, but like
all Cities around the world Watch your Bags. Have a ball and p.s.
Saturday is always busy on Henry Street. |

If you're looking for just a fastfood kind of lunch then they're all over o'connell street like mcdonalds, kfc, eddie rockets etc etc |

You should go on to Grafton Street - that's where all the decent shops are - but they are quite expensive, head on to Henry Street for the more reasonable shops. Mc Donald's is probably the cheapest place for a bite and there's one on almost every street, |
