Going to Ireland in Sept. do I need to rend a car with AC?

Rental fees for cars with AC are far higher than fees for a car without AC, so I'm wondering if I need it for what will be a car tour throughout Ireland from early to mid Sept.

u deffo dont need a car with ac...on the rare occasions we get sunny hot weather its not very humid so opening the window would surely suffice...save ur money and go for the car without ac

Orla C
You are either joking or you really have never been to Europe before .... not many cars or buildings do AC!

And while it's often nice and warm and sunny in Ireland in September, it's not that warm that you need to air condition a car.

gummyhall
no you wont need AC....i live in Ireland-in Waterford and never had AC.....actually i think i know about 2 people who have AC!!! not needed here

hahaha, more like a heater! We have been having a rightly crappy summer this year (and last year) s unless the weather makes a drastic change you'll be fine without!

Have fun!

cardimom
You don't need AC in Ireland in July. So definitely not in sept. Remember a medium weight jacket or jumper(SWeater).

probably not .. its never that warm in ireland but it can get a bit stuffy in the car so you might be better off getting ac just in case ..

Jimmy Carr
You won't need air conditioning, just make sure its got electric windows. Average temp in September is about 15-17 degrees. If your from a warm climate it may feel cold to you but for us thats a pleasant day.
