Both sites offer 1000's hotels around the globe at affordable prices.

Hope it helps

Jurys (Custom House) is the closest hotel to the point.

Takes about 10mins to walk to the Point from there, and it's just a straight walk, no turns. A taxi would take about 2mins if even

Try laterooms.ie for good hotel bargins in the city centre. There are no hotels very near the pioint but the city centre is a five min taxi ride away or a 25 min walk up the quays so, look for a hotel in the city centre. Stay away from temple bar ( expensive) or Gardiner St budget hotels (dodgy)

ems dublin
honestly your best bet is to stay in any city centre hotels as the point is just at the docks. just google dublin city centre hotels

Christine
The closest one to the Point is the Jurys Inn, you'd be best trying to get that one.

Jury's Inn Custom House- Less than a mile from the theater.
They have a bar and a coffeehouse in the hotel and it's right on the quay. Shopping is easy from here too.
Here's their website:

I would advise you to get a B&B or hotel in Clontarf. Anything very close to the Point will be packed and it is not in a very nice area (dockside in any city is much the same).

Try Clontarf Castle or any B&B in Clontarf - a short taxi ride away.

Enjoy your night.

I can recommend the Ripley Court hotel on Talbot Street, which is 15 minutes walk from the Point; they do good room rates which include breakfast; and they have an underground car park which is free.

the Clarion Hotel is even closer to the Point; it's near the docks; a bit pricier, and they charge for parking; and of course the Jury's, right on the riverfront, do a good room rate too, I think breakfast is extra; they also have parking. All the above are 15 minutes or less from the Point.

Jurys Innn is on the same strreet as the The Point , i think its only about ten fifteen min walk to it, its v close by. walking from o connnell street is prob best way to get there, no matter where u stay, any time iv been to a concert in the point traffic along the quays up the point is hectic and v slow moving so i was always walk there and back
