Look up Trim Castle in county Meath. Try drinking the meath if you get a chance. Tour the Guinness brewery and the Jameson Distillery. Free Samples at the end.

Eat bangers for breakfast and drink a pint in almost any Pub in the country. They are all non smoking.

Visit Tara.

Go to Waterford and buy some Crystal. I went and stayed at Waterford Castle. Look up the website. It has it's own Island and a small golf course.

The most importat part is to get a World Master Card for renting a car. The CDW in Ireland is 30 euro a day ($50) I saved a $1000 over 2 weeks. My cousins had to pay it. The card was the difference.

Have Fun!!

Try to visit the islands off the coast of Ireland, like the Aran Islands off Clare/Galway, the Blasket Islands and Skellig Michael off the coast of Kerry are amazing. Anywhere except the midlands is wonderful, the midlands are quite dull.

I came across this blog post recently which might help you. It lists 10 must see places in Ireland and provides information about each attraction. Hope this helps.

There are so many that it would be impossible to name them all. as it's a very small country, your best bet is to get a hire car & just drive all over if you have the time. Blarney castle is one must, also other casles & big houses.Dublin has much to offer & all the old churches & monuments are worth while.
Max O, Stonehenge is in England, not Ireland!

hi you
log into discoverireland.ie both cork and Kerry are 2 nice places to see

Rent a car! If you hire a car, you'll be free to explore a range of beautiful places and scenic drives.

The capital, Dublin is best for shopping, but if you're looking for a true insight into Irish culture, it's worth discovering the countryside.

Co. Kerry should be top of your list-especially the lakes of Killarney. Kinsale in Co.Cork isn't too far away either. The west of Ireland is really pretty too, especially the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare. You can't beat the mountains Co.Wicklow either, especially Glendalough, where you'll find a very famous monastery and spectacular scenery. I recommend checking out http://www.arguscarhire.com/ for cheap deals.
